Waves DAO Funding Proposal: Arkimals Ecosystem and Farm Game

Proposal Summary

We respectfully request funding at a rate of 2.5 WAVES per block, divided as follows:

• 1.75 WAVES per block for the Arkimals treasury
• 0.75 WAVES per block for continued development

Reason for the Request

The significant decline in the price of WAVES has reduced the real-world value of our available funding. Additional support is therefore necessary to continue expanding the Farm Game, strengthen the treasury mechanism, and maintain the momentum of the Arkimals ecosystem.

Farm Game Progress

The Arkimals Farm Game is already showing active participation:

• 30 active players in the past 24 hours
• 41 active players in the past seven days
• 70 total players

The game will continue growing into a larger extension of both the Arkimals and Waves ecosystems.

A key part of the roadmap is the integration of all types of Arkimal NFTs into the game. Each Arkimal category will receive in-game utility, giving holders stronger reasons to collect, use, and retain their NFTs.

Canine Treasury Success

The Canine Treasury was created to increase demand for Canine NFTs while permanently locking WAVES.

Approximately 80,000 WAVES have already been locked forever through this mechanism. This strengthens the value proposition of Canine NFTs while permanently preventing those WAVES from returning to the market.

The treasury has therefore been successful in achieving its two main goals: increasing demand for Canines and permanently locking WAVES.

Use of Funds

Treasury

The treasury allocation will focus on:

• Increasing demand for Arkimal NFTs
• Permanently locking additional WAVES
• Strengthening the treasury mechanism
• Encouraging long-term participation in the Arkimals ecosystem

Development

The development funding will focus primarily on the continued expansion of the Arkimals Farm Game.

Planned development includes:

• Integrating every type of Arkimal NFT into the game
• Creating different roles, abilities, and utility for each Arkimal category
• Adding new gameplay features, systems, and progression mechanics
• Introducing a variety of micropayments and optional ways for players to spend within the game
• Creating additional use cases for WAVES and other ecosystem assets
• Developing ways for players to earn crypto through gameplay and participation
• Improving the game’s infrastructure, stability, and user experience

The Farm Game will remain completely free to play. Players will not need to purchase an NFT or spend money to begin playing.

Optional micropayments will offer additional features, convenience, customization, and progression opportunities without preventing free players from enjoying the game.

Players will also have opportunities to earn crypto through gameplay. This combination of free access, optional spending, NFT utility, and crypto rewards can make the Farm Game a strong onboarding experience for people who are new to blockchain.

New players can begin with a familiar and accessible game before gradually learning how to use wallets, NFTs, WAVES, and other parts of the ecosystem. This gives Arkimals the potential to become a practical gateway for bringing new users into Waves.

Conclusion

Arkimals has already demonstrated active player participation, continued game development, expanding NFT utility, and a successful treasury mechanism that has permanently locked approximately 80,000 WAVES.

This funding will support the continued expansion of the Farm Game, the integration of every Arkimal category, new micropayment options, and opportunities for players to earn crypto.

By remaining free to play, the game can provide an accessible entry point for new users while creating demand for Arkimal NFTs, increasing activity within the Waves ecosystem, and permanently locking additional WAVES.
